Committees
Economic Development
The mission of the Economic Development Committee is to empower Mozambique local nationals to create sustainable business opportunities. Businesses must be 100% owned by Mozambique nationals and prospective business owners must provide a detailed business plan for consideration. MDiM provides interest-free loans to qualified business interests and mentorship to help increase the success rate of these new organizations. MDiM will use repaid loans to fund future business ventures in the region.
Education
The primary function of the Education Committee is to work with educators and government offices in the community, as well as the local school system to prioritize the greatest support requirements. This committee aims to provide individuals with learning opportunities and vocational/technical training that will prepare them to enter the workforce. MDiM also selects and sponsors eligible candidates to help them earn a college education.
Health
The MDiM Health Committee works closely with The Chicuque Rural Hospital (CRH) and the Center of Hope (CoH) to identify needs that will improve the health and quality of life of all Mozambiqicans served by these institutions.
