Michael Doherty, President
Mr. Doherty's work in the non-profit field started as a construction volunteer in 1991 with Habitat for Humanity in Lexington, KY. Since then he has served as the founding President of Greater Lewisville Habitat for Humanity in Lewisville, TX and assisted in the merger of this organization with Denton HFH which has provided affordable housing for over 60 families. He has also served as Habitat for Humanity's Vice President of the North Texas Council of Affiliates from 2004 – 2006. He is currently serving as an Advisor to Habitat Texas and is a member of the Board of Ethics for the City of Highland Village, Highland Village, TX.
Mr. Doherty's professional career includes 15 years in industrial water treatment/filtration. For the past 10 years he has held various management positions in the telecommunications industry. He is currently employed as the Director of Carrier Integration at EDS. He holds a B.A. in Anthropology from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.
Ron Beer, Vice President
Dr. Beer retired as an administrator in higher education after serving 43 years at three major universities, including 20 years as V.P. for Student Services and Professor at Oklahoma State. Educational and mission working adventures have taken Ron and spouse Cara to 23 different countries over their 43 years of marriage. Beer was one of the founding member's of the Stillwater Habitat for Humanity, starting his fifth three-year term on the Board of Directors, including one as President and many on the construction crew. He has served on and held offices in numerous city, state, and national governing boards. He is currently V.P. of the Board of Trustees that is developing a private, non-profit, White Woods Retirement Campus in Stillwater, OK, a five tier retirement community.
Dr. Beer holds degrees from Illinois State University, Michigan State University, and Kent State University. He and Cara live in Stillwater, OK.
Mike Sherwood, Treasurer
Mr. Sherwood is a Christian who has been involved in health care for almost 30 years as an EMT, Paramedic and manager. He has been active in Habitat for Humanity since 1990 when he was a founding board member of the Pasadena Texas Habitat for Humanity chapter. He is currently a cabinet and furniture maker with a shop in Lewisville, Texas. He has an MBA with a finance focus from the University of Dallas.

Tara Whitehead – Stotland, Secretary
Mrs. Whitehead - Stotland has held numerous executive positions in the Information Technology field for the past 14 years including IBM and EDS. Her extensive background in technology consulting resulted in her being named to Who's Who Among International Business Leaders. Mrs. Whitehead - Stotland is currently serving as the President Emeritus, Goizueta Business School of Emory University, Alumni Advisory Board and Co-Chairman, Marketing Committee and Member, Board of Governors, Emory University.
Mrs. Whitehead - Stotland is a graduate of the BBA and Communications Programs from Southern Methodist University. She also holds an MBA from Emory University and an International MBA from Nijenrode University in The Netherlands
Barbara Williams
Mrs. Williams has a varied work background including entrepreneurial, health care, and non-profit work. She and her husband successfully ran a motorcycle, auto, and RV dealerships for over 10 years. She also worked for Mission Possible helping get Bibles into Easter Bloc countries during the waning years of the Cold War. In addition, Mrs. Williams worked for many years at the Denton Eye Center in Denton, TX where managed the office and provided care to patients.
Mrs. Williams attended Pasadena City College School of Nursing in Pasadena, CA.

Dr. Marilyn Hurlbut
Dr. Hurlbut has 25 years experience in consulting, executive coaching, managing, training, and teaching. As a consultant, she has worked both in-house and independently. Her in-house experience was with a major oil company (ARCO Oil and Gas Company), where she worked directly with the President and senior executives, focusing on executive communication within the organization and the identification and development of future leaders. Her independent consulting clients include Merck, Johnson and Johnson, and IBM.
Dr. Hurlbut holds a Ph.D. in Interpersonal Communication and Counseling from the University of North Texas where she has also been an adjunct professor. More recently, she has served as an adjunct professor at Africa University in Zimbabwe, teaching graduate seminars in leadership as well as communication skills to undergraduate students.
Andrew Kidd
Mr. Kidd is currently serving on the Boards of Overoaks Community Development District in Kissimmee, FL and is the VP of the Triple Creek Municipal Management District in McLendon Chisholm, TX. Mr. Kidd is a principle in Noble Kidd Development which has developed over 4500 apartment units and 1640 single family lots. His firm is currently developing a $100 Million+ single family golf course community near Dallas, TX. He has also served as a Board member for Young Life from 1984-1995. Mr. Kidd earned his B.S. and MBA from Texas Tech University.
John Dupree
Mr. Dupree's career includes extensive telecommunications and technology experience. He has held several executive positions with Sprint over the past nine years. He currently directs Sprint's National and Strategic sales efforts in a 12 state region in the central US.
Active in international affairs, Mr. Dupree is a former Executive Director of the Society of International Business Fellows, a professional association of senior executives focused on global business issues. He is a member of the Dallas Committee on Foreign Relations and has served two terms on the Board of Directors of the Greater Dallas Chamber of Commerce. He also is the Executive Sponsor for Sprint's Corporate Social Responsibility Council in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.
Mr. Dupree is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and Oxford University in England where he studied as a Rhodes Scholar. He also has a graduate degree in International Affairs from The Fletcher School at Tufts University.

Joseph Moore
Mr. Moore is a Human Resources professional currently serving as the Director – Human Resources and Planning for Engineering and Planning at Verizon Communications. He has over 20 years of experience in employee development, EEO/Affirmative Action, compensation, staffing, reduction-in-force, employee relocation, and base pay services.
Mr. Moore received a Bachelor of Arts degree with Distinction in Speech Communication from the University of Virginia, a Master of Arts degree in Speech Communication and Organizational Behavior from Indiana University at Bloomington, and a Master of Arts degree in Labor & Industrial Relations from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Mr. Moore is currently the Vice Chair of the Board for the Lewisville, TX-based not-for-profit, Christian Community Action. Also, he serves on the Advisory Board for Diversity in Engineering for The City College of New York (CCNY).
Richard E. Duncan
Healthcare Consultant with over 35 years of experience as a healthcare administration executive. Rich has served as Vice President of Catholic Health Initiatives and VP/Chief Information Officer of The Children's Medical Center of Dallas, TX which received the American Hospital Association's Most Wired Award three times; The MetroHealth System in Cleveland, OH; Lehigh Valley Health System in Lehigh, PA; Hospital Sisters Health System in Springfield, IL and Baptist Health System in Birmingham, AL. Rich has served as the Chairman of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS); Healthcare Information Systems Executive Association (HISEA) and was named "CIO of the Year" by the American Hospital Association/HIMSS in 1993.
Rich is a US Navy veteran and has a Master of Business Administration Degree from Samford University and a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, Birmingham Southern College in Birmingham, Alabama.
Katinya Lilly
Katinya is a Christian that has been involved with Mozambique Development in Motion since October 2008. She is a Graphical User Interface Developer with Southwest Airlines, and has degrees in Mathematics from the University of Texas at Austin and Computer Science from Tyler Junior College. Outside of her day job, Katinya spends her spare time as a freelance web manager and designer for over 10 years for various organizations including Mozambique Development in Motion. She has been married to Future Lilly for eleven years, and they have four beautiful children.
